Students are expected to develop a high level of under-
standing of concepts, models, and analytical techniques of
Micro-economics. Understanding is to be demonstrated in
the form of beingable to express the meaning and impli-
cations of models in terms of diagrams, words, and math.

This course will cover demand and supply theory, consumer
theory, and production theory in the first semester; and in
the second semester, it will include market structure, game
theory, factor market, general equilibrium, market failure,
welfare, information, uncertainty and other implications.
